==Career==
In July 2011, Lerman passed the leadership of her company to Cassie Meador,〔http://www.washingtoncitypaper.com/blogs/artsdesk/performance-and-dance/2011/09/01/life-after-lerman-the-dance-exchange-ponders-a-future-without-its-founder/〕 and the company is now called simply Dance Exchange.
That fall, Lerman spent the semester at Harvard as a Visiting Lecturer. Wesleyan University Press also published ''Hiking the Horizontal: Field Notes from a Choreographer'', Lerman's collection of essays, in 2011.
